Hi, I’m James, a Technical Artist focused on building tools, workflows, and visual effects in Unreal Engine.
Most recently, I worked at Epic Games as a Technical Artist on their training team, contributing to developer education, production workflows, and projects like LEGO Fortnite, educator guides, and professional training. My work spans Niagara VFX, shader development, and technical pipelines that help teams create more efficiently and expressively.
I spend my time as a bridge between art and code, diving into deep optimization and programming while collaborating with artists to give them what they need to fully unlock their potential and building systems that level up the whole team.
